FileOnChain is an open evidence protocol: hash, sign, and anchor a document, dataset, release, or full AI-agent run, then hand out one portable evidence package that proves it existed, unchanged, at that time. Anyone can check it with the open-source verifier, which runs locally in the browser or CLI. By default only the hash leaves your machine; the bytes can optionally be stored onchain. Started as a 48-hour project at the Consensus 2024 Hackathon, where it won 3rd place.
